Oof.
The ladder appears to be stable now. Should I try going up first…?
[Because Wooster is totally not worrying about Zeetha cutting up the chandelier. Not worrying at all]
No worries, I’ll get it! Just hold the ladder steady….
[She draws a sword, trying to get the fabric free with minimal damage to the fixture….but the embroidery is firmly caught on the fastenings of the crystals and one of the tassels is thoroughly entwined….there’s only so much finesse can accomplish with this Gordian Knot….right…Plan B time! *KA-SLICE!*]
I’ll disentangle the thing myself. I’m sure they can fix it when I’m done with it.
[Fortunately, the falling arm of the chandelier misses Wooster, broke its fall on a chair, leaving the wrap undamaged, but still tangled.]
That’s certainly one way of getting it down.
[He’s sure the Baron will forgive them for that— after all, they did just save his wife’s best chestwrap from a life of entanglement]
I even made the cut clean so all they have to do is blowtorch it back in place. Easy!
[And now she’s trying to untangle the thing]
Hmmn….I might need some pliers for this.
